Traveling for business recently, I had the opportunity to visit the USS Constitution in Boston. As long as I’ve been interested in maritime history and model ship building, I’m almost embarrassed to say I’ve never actually seen her. What a treat it was! Unfortunately, they were doing some work on her (she’s missing her top masts) and as it’s an active navy vessel there were crew meetings and activities happening that prevented me from visiting the lower decks.
I put some pictures from the visit together as a video. I'm sure other photographers would take better photos, but I was trying to capture details from a modeler's perspective (hopefully you can appreciate them!).
